Ride A Pet Rebirth Guide
Seven rebirths, one pet chain, and a reset you should never press blind. Requirements, costs and the fastest recovery route.

Ride A Pet has 7 rebirths. Each one trades a required pet plus cash for a permanent bonus, and the pet chain in order is: Horse, Fox, Unicorn, Phoenix, Kitsune, a second Kitsune, and finally the Dragon. Rebirthing resets your cash and luck upgrades but keeps your pets, and each rebirth grants permanent rewards including extra pet slots and income boosts.
All 7 Rebirth Requirements
| Rebirth | Required Pet | Cash Cost | Pet Hatch Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Horse | $1M | — |
| 2 | Fox | $50M | 1 in 21M |
| 3 | Unicorn | $2.5B | 1 in 1T |
| 4 | Phoenix | $125B | — |
| 5 | Kitsune | 待确认 (to be confirmed) | — |
| 6 | Kitsune (second) | 待确认 (to be confirmed) | — |
| 7 | Dragon | 待确认 (to be confirmed) | — |
Cash costs multiply steeply — roughly 50x per stage through the early chain ($1M → $50M → $2.5B → $125B). Check the in-game rebirth screen before committing: the game shows the exact current requirements, and updates can change them.
What Resets vs What Stays
The developer does not publish a full reset list, but player-documented runs agree on this picture:
| Resets | Stays |
|---|---|
| Your cash | Your pets |
| Luck upgrades (bought hatch luck) | Permanent rebirth bonuses |
| Progress toward the next milestone | Pet slots earned from rebirths |
Always read the in-game confirmation screen — it shows exactly what you are about to lose at the point of no return, and update changes can affect the terms.

Confirmed Rebirth Rewards
- +1 pet slot per rebirth — documented across multiple rebirths in player runs; more equipped pets mean more income and faster recovery.
- Permanent progression multipliers on income.
- Later stages add larger multipliers (travel speed tiers, double cash and hatch speed upgrades are reported in community guides; exact per-stage rewards: 待确认).
When Should You Rebirth?
The rule: rebirth when you can recover quickly, not when you technically can.
- First rebirth: as soon as rebuilding is cheap for you — a stable mount and cash flow that recovers within a session or two. Waiting only delays the compounding.
- Each next rebirth: when your current loop has flattened and another hour of grinding clearly yields less than the bonus would.
- Skip it: before a break from the game, or whenever the bonus would take dozens of hours to repay. A permanent bonus only pays if you come back.
The Fastest Recovery Route (After Every Reset)
- Get moving immediately — straight into your best early egg route, no menu browsing.
- Replace your starter pet as fast as possible. Every speed upgrade shortens the next run.
- Stop detouring for weak eggs once you hit a decent mid-game pet; push the strongest route you can farm.
- Spend only on what speeds up recovery — no random shop purchases.
- Push directly at the next rebirth requirement once movement and income are back.
Experienced players chain rebirths not by replaying the whole game but by running the same recovery route cleaner every time: first egg, first pet upgrade, first route, first money target, then straight back to the requirement. And one sequence note from documented runs: rebirth before spending big on luck upgrades — the reset wipes bought luck, so buy after, not before.
How many rebirths are in Ride A Pet?+
Seven. The pet chain in order: Horse, Fox, Unicorn, Phoenix, Kitsune, Kitsune (second), Dragon.
What does rebirth reset?+
Cash and luck upgrades reset; pets and earned pet slots stay. Always check the in-game confirmation screen before pressing — updates can change the terms.
Is rebirth worth it?+
Yes, if you recover fast. A rebirth that costs an hour of rebuilding but permanently boosts your earning rate pays for itself within the next session. The mistake is rebirthing while your recovery setup is still terrible.
Which pet should I save for rebirths?+
Don't sell your Horse, Fox, Unicorn, Phoenix or any Kitsunes — each gates a rebirth stage. Duplicates of your best pets are fine to keep as mutation targets.
