Eggs are the only source of pets in Ride A Pet. They spawn as physical objects around the map — you ride up, pick one up, and have roughly 20 seconds to bring it back to a nest at your base before it breaks. From there it hatches on a timer (minutes for common eggs, hours for the rarest), optionally boosted by hatch luck you buy with cash. Because the far nests hold better pools, your mounted speed decides which eggs you can realistically farm.

How Eggs Work

Every egg type rolls its own pet pool — a nest near spawn and a distant high-tier egg are not drawing from the same list. Rarity controls both the odds and the speed ceiling of what hatches. The top end is intentionally extreme: headline odds are advertised around the 1 in 50Qa scale, so treat named promo pets as trophies rather than farmable targets.

  • Eggs respawn after being taken, so a memorised route stays useful across sessions.
  • The radar helps you locate spawns. Buy radars from the Gears Shop; higher tiers (Royal, Magic, Eternal) point at rarer eggs, and the Eternal Radar can locate even the rarest world spawns.
  • Hatch luck multiplies your odds. Luck is bought at the nest with cash and can reach enormous values; several Robux passes multiply the process.
  • Nest slots are limited but can be unlocked for cash, letting several eggs hatch in parallel.

Where Eggs Spawn

Eggs spawn at fixed kinds of locations across the four map zones — Overworld, Giant Tree, Desert and Waterfall. Spawn points are consistent enough that experienced players memorise a circuit: pick a direction from spawn, note each nest in order, and run the same line every lap. Eggs glow, which makes them much easier to spot at night — night patrols are a community-standard technique.

For the two most valuable world-spawned eggs, we have dedicated guides:

Farming Strategy: Farm What You Can Reach

The best egg is the rarest one you can reach and repeat. A distant high-tier pool is worthless if every trip costs five minutes you cannot sustain, while a mid-map nest you can chain ten times an hour produces far more pets and cash. Farm the furthest tier your current mount clears comfortably, and step up only when your speed makes the next tier routine.

No egg tier is locked behind Robux — the game passes only speed up the process (infinite radar, instant hatch, extra backpack).

Do eggs respawn in Ride A Pet?+

Yes. Eggs reappear after being taken, which makes egg farming a repeatable loop. Exact respawn timing is not documented by the developer, so treat specific figures as community observations.

What is the best egg to hatch?+

The rarest egg you can reach and repeat comfortably. Eggs further from spawn hold stronger pools, but only if your mount makes the trip efficient. Upgrade your route as your speed grows.

How do I find rare eggs faster?+

Use the radar from the Gears Shop, learn fixed spawn circuits per zone, and hunt at night — eggs glow and are much easier to spot in the dark. The Index also shows how many of each rare egg currently exist in the map.
